Tralee Day Tour

There are lots of things to do in Tralee. Your first visit this morning travels down Tralee's historic Denny Street to The Ashe Memorial Hall, built on the sit of the original castle. The building is home to Kerry County Museum, The Geraldine experience of Medieval Tralee, and Tralee Tourism office.

Just a short walk from here is the Garden of Senses in Tralee Town Park. When in season & in full bloom this is a must see.

Just a short distance away is the National Folk Theatre & Art Gallery, Siamsa Tire. Many interesting exhibitions are hosted here throughout the year & it's well worth checking out.

Back on the bus again and driving out the beautiful Dingle Road to Blennerville - with the canal on one side and the River Lee on the other. Here we find Ireland's largest working windmill. As kerry's main port during the famine, this would have been the last sight of Ireland for many emigrants, it is now an exciting visitors centre open from April - October.
