Established in 1994, we work with private groups and inbound tour operators providing passenger transport services (e.g. transfers, golf tours, scenic tours etc.). Services can be ad-hoc or scheduled departures, lasting from 1 - 12 days in length and regularly travel throughout all of Ireland.

Job Description:School Bus Driver Tralee, Killarney – Kerry Area

Part time roles available. Sept 2021 to June 2022.

The Role:

  • Part Time School Transport Driver in the Tralee/Killarney area. Occasional private hire services during the day, evenings or weekends in Kerry or around Ireland.

Key Requirements:

  • D Passenger Carrying Licence.
  • Relevant driver CPC.
  • Entitled to live and work in Ireland.
  • Fluent spoken and written English is required.
  • Familiar with road networks in the Tralee and Killarney area.
  • Customer service and/or past passenger transport experience an advantage.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Drive mini-buses and coaches with due care and attention at all times for the comfort and safety of passengers.
  • Complete, and maintain the record of, daily vehicle safety checks and legal documentation (training provided).
  • Before, during and after completing driving duties: maintain vehicle cleanliness both inside and outside to a high standard and ensure on board items are correctly stocked/maintained.
  • Both on and off the bus, communicate professionally with colleagues, passengers, clients and potential clients.

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Good communication.
  • Display a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Demonstration an interest in customer service.
  • Aware of passenger safety and comfort at all times.
  • An awareness of sustainable driving methods and eco driving.
  • Develop and maintain the highest standards of passenger service.
  • Load and unload luggage.
  • Initiative and problem solving skills to work seamlessly with colleagues, clients and passengers.
  • Generate and provide meaningful and constructive feedback to continuously improve the quality of service to passengers.

Other requirements or duties:

  • Activities outside the role of bus/mini-bus driving may be required.
