International Association of Golf Tour Operators
In November 2024, Rose Travel became a member of the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO), the global trade organisation for the golf tourism industry.
Established in 1997, IAGTO represents more than 2,400 member companies across over 90 countries. Its membership includes golf tour operators, destinations, accommodation providers, golf courses and specialist travel suppliers working within the international golf travel sector. IAGTO supports the industry through professional standards, global networking and major conventions held in Europe, Asia and North America.
Rose Travel specialises in delivering bespoke golf transport services across Ireland, supporting inbound golf tour operators, travel planners and private groups with professional, schedule-led transport. Joining IAGTO reflects our commitment to working at trade level and to supporting structured golf itineraries where reliability, timing and local knowledge are essential. Membership provides access to a global network of golf tourism professionals, industry resources and insights that support collaboration across the wider golf travel ecosystem.
This affiliation reinforces our role as a ground transport partner, operating in coordination with tour operators, accommodations and golf courses to ensure transport integrates smoothly into wider golf travel programmes.
We regularly support inbound golf travel programmes across Ireland, providing transport for:
Individual golfers and small private groups
Hosted and escorted golf tours
Multi-course, multi-day itineraries
Trade and operator-led golf programmes
Our services are delivered using chauffeur vehicles, minibuses and coaches selected to suit group size, luggage requirements and itinerary complexity. Drivers are experienced in working to tee times, course schedules and accommodation check-ins, and in operating with discretion, judgement and respect for client privacy.
Rose Travel operates a fleet suited to the specific demands of golf travel, including:
Chauffeur-driven minibuses for 24 golfers
Mid-size coaches for 1016 golfers with equipment
Larger touring coaches for hosted or escorted groups of 17+ guests
Vehicles are configured to accommodate golf bags comfortably and to support efficient, punctual transfers between courses and accommodation. Depending on requirements, vehicles may be specified with features such as leather seating, onboard tables, USB charging ports, tinted windows and chilled storage for refreshments etc.
Golf travel depends on precise timing, coordination and discretion. Our team delivers transport to agreed schedules, allowing clients to depart for tee times on their own timetable, arrive prepared for play, and return at their own pace once rounds are complete.
From early starts to post-round hospitality, transport is managed so clients can focus on the golfing experience rather than logistics.
Membership of IAGTO marks an important milestone for Rose Travel as we continue to develop our golf transport services and strengthen long-term relationships with international golf tour operators.
We look forward to supporting future golf travel programmes and contributing as a professional transport partner within the global golf tourism community.
