How do we store your data?
Our company collects your data so that we can:
- Online School Bus Payments – all personal information required when purchasing an online bus ticket is stored for 90 days past the date of travel. Where someone is not an ongoing passenger/customer in the following academic year, it will then be auto-deleted from our ecommerce platform. The reason why we take personal data is to be able to email the e-ticket or receipt and/or correctly allocated payments for services to the customer who is travelling so accounts can be reconciled and passengers can get onto the bus and avail of the service that they have bought. If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for lawful business purposes, e.g. administrative, legal, or security purposes.
- Coach Hire – all coach hire details taken over the phone by a member of staff or when a customer fills out an online coach hire form will be filed and stored until 90 days after the coach hire booking date or, for repeat customers, 90 days since their last transaction. The reason why we take personal data is to be able to communicate the quote or price of the coach hire to the customer.
When processing payments you provide your details to out payment service providers, you should read their privacy policy. See below section on payment processing.
